Alumni Relations

For the last year, we have been working hard to reconnect with our alumni base. We have revitalized our programming through a variety of new projects. Here are some of the ways that you, as Gamma Chapter alumni, can get involved:

RENOVATE BY 2008
Gamma Chapter is currently conducting a major fundraising campaign to provide us with the capital necessary to perform required house improvements. Please see our fundraising brochure for more information on the campaign and what you can do to help. If you would like to make a gift online, please go the the Northwestern Alumni Relations & Development website and be sure to enter "ZBT Building Fund Acct #5E95" as the donation recipient. Thank you for your support!

MENTORING PROGRAM
We have established a program through which we survey the career interests of brothers in the house and put them in contact with alumni whose careers match those interests. The participating alumni are asked to partake in a 30-minute phone conversation with a current brother in the house. The goal of these conversations is for brothers to gain valuable career advice and learn about internship opportunities. Currently, about twenty brothers have signed up, and we are still in the process of identifying mentors for some of them. If you are willing to serve as a mentor, please email us with a brief description of your career, your email address, and your phone number.

Also, we now have lists of various alumni in different fields from around the country and their contact information. There is an option to download a specific list or all at the same time, and all are password protected and zipped.

ALUMNI NOTES
For our next newsletter, we plan to include a large "Alumni Notes" section, providing updates on the careers and lives of Gamma Chapter alums. Please email us any updates you would like us to print in the next newsletter.

ATTEND CAREER NIGHT
If you would be interested in attending a Career Night in the fall at 576 Lincoln Street to share career advice with interested brothers, please email us your career information, contact information (email, phone number), and the dates that would work best for you.

ATTEND/SUGGEST ALUMNI EVENTS
We are considering a number of social events (e.g., bar night, poker night, baseball game), not only in the Chicago area, but also in other major cities with large Gamma Chapter alumni bases. As plans for these events solidify, we will send out updates/invitations. If you have any additional specific ideas for alumni social events, please email them to us.
