Executive Board

Ian

President:

Ian Rinehart is a WCAS Sophomore majoring in German and International Studies, and hails from St. Louis, Missouri. In addition to being Willard's fearless leader, Ian is a member of the Student Admissions Council (SAC) and the Sigma Chi Fraternity. He enjoys ice hockey, ultimate Frisbee, and Settlers of Catan. Ian has plans to turn Willard into a monarchy, thus giving him divine powers and enabling him to establish an elaborate, yet lucrative, peasant farming system; this proposal is still pending approval from the administration. In the mean time, he pledges to make Willard the best Residential College on campus by maintaining good relations with the University and making sure Willardites are 100% satisfied with RC living. Feel free to contact Ian if you have any questions about Willard and he'll be happy to respond within 5-10 business days.

Dylan

Vice-President:

Dylan Lewis is a sophomore in the School of Communication. He's majoring in theater and is considering an environmental policy minor. He enjoys composing music, singing, and playing tennis. He lives in Albany, NY, and his favorite pastime is pumping iron with Tom Hayden. Sometimes, on the weekends, he doesn't put on a shirt- AT ALL.

Tom Hayden

Secretary:

Until coming to Northwestern, Tom Hayden tragically spent all of his life in Mendham, New Jersey. Disheartened by the lack of diners in Chicago, Tom Hayden has adapted to life in the icy north by indulging in some new hobbies. These include reading, writing, and sneaking up on cats while they're sleeping. Tom Hayden would say that his principle interests include bro-ing it up, pumping mad iron with Dylan Lewis, and finding new and exciting ways to pronounce the word "right." When asked about his professional life, Tom Hayden responded that "I can only hope that my accomplishments in this world supersede my accomplishments in the next one." He then went back to sleep.

Charissa

Treasurer:

Hailing from the small town of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Charissa Quezaire is the proud member of 31 groups. She has been nicknamed 15 times, 11 of which were contributed by Willard’s very own James Walsh. Charissa struggles to cope with the fact that she’s left-handed by participating in such activities as sustainable living, Kellogg studies, and the Chi Omega sorority. Tagged in 187 photos, Charissa has never spent more than $500 on sunglasses, but she has read a book more than 10 times (Hatchet by Gary Paulsen).

Academic Chairs

Academic Chairs:

Being from Detroit, Michigan, Hana Suckstorff loves quotation. So much so that her About Me section is just more quotes. Another thing that Hana loves is tennis. In fact, I think she skipped two exec meetings to play tennis with Ivan. Her profile shows it, as she lists Club Tennis proudly as the first item on her list of interests. Among her other, less important interests are: hummus, James Taylor, Harry Potter, and being the only person to like the film Bowfinger. Hana has accomplished the impossible by maintaining just one Bumper Sticker and of all Disney Princesses, she identifies the most with Ariel. Hana won her position on Willard Exec by laying down some hardcore freestyle in her campaign stump speech.

Ben Rothschild enjoys long walks down Sheridan road in the winter and vegan chocolate cake from SAGA. When not being academic, which is all too often, he can be found aimlessly staring at pictures of Frances Willard, polka-ing, and eating lunch at high tables on Tuesdays and Fridays. Seriously, you should come to high table (if for no other reason than to oogle at Ben).

Social Chairs:

Noah Rowland is a TBD major in the WCAS class of 2011. He is from New York, and is leaning towards an Econ major with a minor in math. Academics aside, Noah loves any sort of event or party. Give him a budget, a room, and speakers and you'll have a party in no time. He holds his position in all seriousness and is committed, with Robin, the other social chair, to bring Willard its finest formal ever. He is easily approachable and always looking to meet new people, so don't hesitate to come up to his room and introduce yourself. Oh, and while you are there, make sure to say hello to our President, Ian Rinehart. He'll be the guy in the chair on the opposite side of the room.

According to Bumper Stickers, Robin Levy often busts out in random dance moves and knows more about Harry Potter than American History (which is just sad). Hailing from the oddly-shaped state of Virginia, Robin spends much of her time speaking Latin and making lists at her lake. She likes the book Eragon, but not the movie. Interestingly, she also prefers the old animated version of The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, but not that old, creepy animated version of The Hobbit. Also, I think she legitimately enjoys the music of Günther.

Fireside Chairs:

Alex Liu hails from New Jersey, a mysterious land that nobody else seems to like besides him. He is triple majoring in English/Undecided/Underwater Basket-weaving. His hobbies include listserv spamming (for firesides, as well as his own agenda), NUIM, and referring to himself in the third person.

Ivan Li is from Hong Kong, which means he has to buy plane tickets months in advance in order to attend Northwestern on time. Now that’s dedication! His music interests include indie music, dance music, and Norah Jones. In between buying Jackson Pollock prints and quoting Emerson, Ivan sometimes designs really sick websites. In fact, he can be credited with using his talents to single-handedly win Neal Sales-Griffin’s campaign for ASG President.

Philantrophy Chair:

Tulsi Patel is a Weinberg sophomore majoring in economics and history (so right there, whatever.) She tries to hide her interest and other things on facebook so that we will have a tough time to write about her. In between her mood swings and biting remarks, she actually cares a lot about the well being of humanity, hence her devotion as our Philanthropy chair. We also know that she has a great passion towards the OC and just didn't want to publicize her love on facebook. We are slowly filing in the gaps here. Tulsi is also from Florida, therefore she enjoys the playing in the sun, going to the beach, and wearing white. It goes without saying. Another very important note is that she enjoys sending people bumper stickers, so if you're into that…
Lastly, while this might seem to be a more sarcastic, inside-joke bio, that's because she is clearly so very forgiving, loving and tolerable to our mischief and surely a person to get to know during your time at Willard!
