About UEA

The Undergraduate English Association exists to promote a literary community on campus. We, a student body directed by a six-person executive board, coordinate literary events both on and off campus, provide services to members, serve as a liaison between students and the English department, and generally promote literary interests.

The Undergraduate English Association was founded in the fall of 2003 and has since been growing rapidly with a member basis of around 70 students. Departmentally recognized, we have influenced changes in the English major, including the overhaul of the gateway courses.
