Turkish Student Association

Welcome to website of the Turkish Student Association at Northwestern University. This site presents information about our group and our events.

The Turkish Student Association (TSA) represents the Turkish community at Northwestern, including all its undergraduate and graduate schools. TSA is a B-status student group recognized by Northwestern's Associated Student Government (ASG) and currently has around a hundred registered members.

TSA aims to maintain and advance the established link between the university and the Turkish community mainly by contributing to the intellectual life and diversity on campus. We seek to help create a culturally rich and tolerant atmosphere at Northwestern. Our association welcomes students from all nationalities and backgrounds and seeks to make the Turkish culture better known among the Northwestern community.

To cater to these aims, TSA organizes social and cultural events that bring together students of different backgrounds together. Some of these events include seminars, exhibitions, social gatherings and concerts, organized either by TSA alone or in cooperation with other student groups.

TSA also provides much needed support for its current and prospective members by helping them overcome problems they might face during their time here. Our organization provides advising help to incoming freshmen in terms of academics and social life.

Please browse through our website for more information on our association and our upcoming events. If you have any questions, feel free to contact us at.
