A great event featuring Erika Jang and James Chen as emcees!!! People were auctioned off at outrageous prices for their incredible and useful talents! Live IPOD, massage, maid service, car rides, mini-golf, personal trainer, home made dinner, and much more! All the money will go to the Aids in Asia Concert on April 22, 2006.

Aids in Asia Concert: April 22, 2006

A great performance (free!!!) in order enlighten the Northwestern Community of Asian's current AIDS crisis. The concert featured At Last (a Panasian male hiphop/acapella group), Jack the Vain (an alternative pop/rock group), Lydia (a Thai popstar who was accepted to NU Class of '09), and Funkadesi (a dynamic ensemble of musicians that integrated East Indian music with Raggae, funk, and Afro-Caribbean grooves). The concert is also proud to feature prominent speakers: Professor Mark Sheldon (Lecturer of Bioethics, Philosophy of Medicine) , Professor Annamaria Pastore (Adjunct Professor, Global Health Studies Program) and Jasmyn Jones (2006-07 President of HIV/AIDS Literacy Organization) to help eludicate the attendees the dangers of AIDS in Asia.
