Another site progress update.

Basically done... Uploaded the individual member gallery; working to upload a few images for each of the other pages (done). Javascript pop-up featuring a scrolling textbox and a date/time display also added (please disable pop-up blockers to access this feature). Just finished fixing the link color change -- the smallest of errors can go a long way (in this case, a measly little extra semi-colon). Elements to consider in the future? Image-swap javascripts (provided I have enough photos for this), completed skater biographies, and php implementation. Woohoo!

The progress weblog continues.

Completely revamped the layout of the entire site so that instead of relying on confusing complex nested tables that are not cross-browser friendly, the whole layout loads using CSS div tags from the style sheet. Debating whether to use purple or peach for barcolor. More than half the pages load with content, but the images need to be changed, the link colors changed, and the midbar completed (too bland). Still waiting on skater biographies for the time being, and many requirements yet to fulfill.

Welcome to the NUSST website. Here begins the weblog of the progress of this site.

The new version of the layout is done, v3.3! Now the layout incorporates the new team name (v1.0 still featured the old name, Purple Line), graphics (v2.0 was all solid colors), and a faster load time (implemented a single medium-res image with area-mapped links for the navigation bar in lieu of dozens of small, high-res images placed in complex nested tables; however, doing so abolished the image-hover functionality, though you can still see it if you go to the parent directory and see Old Layout 2). Now to completely rid the layout of the nested tables completely...
