Fall Grants:
As Ever, Stan -- A Middle American couple,
striving for normalcy, realizes that life after the
War will never be the same.

A New Sincerity -- In a pre-apocalyptic world, what
is there really left to do when you having nothing left to
do? Laugh.
Mute -- One awkwardly shy individual is
given a chance to break free from social
bondage through the death of a stranger.
The Songtree -- A young man learns that certainty
and morality can be mutually exclusive--and that the
former is easier to attain.
Winter Grants:
Viva La Mariachi -- Three young men in an
unsuccessful mariachi band decide to enter a
music competition. During the competition,
contestants begin disappearing, and the trio,
having discovered the true culprits, are captured.
Back By Midnight -- A modern coming of age story
about a lonely teenager who makes a risky decision in an
attempt to experience intimacy for the first time.
Spring Grants:
Bloodbath -- After the recent passing of
his father, Sidney wakes up to find his
bathtub completely filled with blood.
Instrument Man -- A story about a man who
inherits the sufferings of others.
Solo -- A professional impersonator going
through heroin withdrawal, arrives at a child’s
birthday party where he is supposed to
portray Han Solo, only to realize that it is a
party for his own son, who he has never met.
Quartered -- A typical Laundromat scene takes a
turn when one young man finds himself caught in the
midst of an unusual hold up. When two thugs rob the
Laundromat for quarters to play Streetfighter at an
arcade, the protagonist stumbles on a new
perspective from an unlikely source.
Jessamine -- Set in the 1950s Deep South,
a young girl becomes mysteriously ill following
her Grandfather’s death, and in her feverish
state hears the ticking of his pocket watch early
one morning.
