For the 2004 Winter Break Trip, the NU Ski and Snowboard club is heading to Breckenridge, Colorado. Breckenridge is composed of four interconnected mountains, Peak 7, Peak 8, Peark 9, and Peak 10, three base areas, each accessed by its own high-speed four-person SuperChair (as well as 12 other lifts). These mountains contain over 2000 acres of skiable terrain with runs as long as three miles. Breckenridge has an excellent mix of beginner to advanced ski terrain with peak 7 offering some of the finest bowl skiing to the expert skier. One of the truly great features of the Breckenridge ski trip is the easy access to several other ski areas close by. Keystone and Arapaho Basin are only a twenty minute ride by the free KAB Express. Vail is only 45-55 minutes away and shuttle cost is minimal ($8-10). Your lift ticket will automatically enable you to ski all the above areas on the same lift ticket. General information on all resorts may be found at http://www.summitnet.com . Your lift ticket allows you to ski Vail for up to two of the four days. If you like to eat and party, Breckenridge is known to be the highest rated for wining, dining, and nightlife of the four "Ski the Summit" areas. You can take advantage of the parties and events we have planned for you, or you can blaze your own trail and explore the many bars and clubs. Breckenridge has the largest town, over 65 bars and restaurants, and the most exciting nightlife entertainment in the entire summit area. Off the slopes, free shuttle systems take you to the Upper and Lower Villages, Bell Tower Mall, and over 65 saloons and restaurants.
