The Northwestern Ski Trip is once again the LARGEST collegiate ski trip in the nation with 622 NU students!  This year we're headed to Park City.

Known for its world-renowned skiing and legendary dry powder, Park City Mountain Resort is the heart of the Park City ski experience and the world's choice for 2002. Open since 1963, Park City Mountain Resort will host the snowboarding and giant slalom events during the 2002 Winter Olympics.

With a 3100 foot vertical and 3300 acres, Park City has an extensive terrain for any level of skier.  The resort is broken down into three different skill levels with 18% designated for beginners, 44% for intermediate skiers, and 38% for experienced skiers.  For the extreme skiers the mountain includes 750 acres of wide open, snowcapped bowls.

Park City is rated as one of the best ski towns in America according to several ski magazines.  In Park City the day is hardly over when the sun goes down as a multitude of restaurants and bars light up the city.

We'll be staying slopeside at The Lodge and Shadow Ridge condominiums, both within a mile of downtown Park City.
