Lauren Glass

Co-Musical Director

Lauren is a self-described music nerd from Burke, Virginia (note: D.C. area=NOT a hick). She is a double major in vocal performance and choral music education. In her spare time, or lack thereof, Lauren is co-president of the Music Learning Community, an outreach group, and co-director of UpBeat, a program that provides free piano and voice lessons. Although it took a little arm-twisting by Gruen to get her here, Lauren is so thrilled to be a part of ShireiNU and loves each and every one of those crazy kids with all of her heart.

Irina is one cool girl.  She loves to sing and dance mostly, and that’s about it.  In her free time, she studies a lot of science subjects so that she might one day be accepted to medical school.  Irina plans on graduating from WCAS in 2007. Yaaaay Irina!

Miriam "fabulous redhead" Robinovitz is a Senior in WCAS working on a number of possible majors. She is from Chelsea, Michigan, a small town just outside of Ann Arbor. Her interests include singing (!), reading, writing, speaking foreign languages, and baking with her roommate, Courtney. She would like to give a special woot woot to her friends, her parents, and her awesome older brother, Isaac.

Hallie Weiner

Hallie Weiner is a freshman at Northwestern this year. She is a little bit scared of the coming winter as she is from Los Angeles but she knows that her friends here won't let her freeze to death. She has fun singing and listening to music as she is a voice major, but she also loves rolling down hills and reading cool books. Ethnic dancing is also a favorite. She is so thrilled to be part of Shireinu and knows that she will have an incredible time with these incredible people!
