Network for Evanston's Future is an organization that comprises of six separate organizations who are each working to better Evanston. The different groups address issues like affordable housing, transportation, energy, and food policy. Citizens for a Greener Evanston was developed from the Evanston residents involved with the Evanston Climate Action Plan (ECAP). With six individual task forces, they work to further the climate action plan and actualize its implementation. Illinois Student Environmental Coalition (ISEC) is composed of over 40 organizations from universities and colleges throughout Illinois. ISEC's purpose is to facilitate the exchange of ideas and strategies between campus environmental organizations in Illinois. By fostering channels of communication, ISEC will connect students in productive and meaningful ways to make campus initiatives stronger. This link between students, community members, and professionals will create a statewide network of environmentalists that crosses all sectors. By opening the dialogue between campus organizations we hope that students in Illinois will feel more connected and gain strength from learning and sharing with one another. Environmental Law and Policy Center is the Midwest's leading public interest environmental legal advocacy and eco-business innovation organization. ELPC develop and lead successful strategic environmental advocacy campaigns to improve environmental quality and protect our natural heritage. ELPC are public interest environmental entrepreneurs who engage in creative business deal making with diverse interests to put into practice our belief that environmental progress and economic development can be achieved together. ELPC's multidisciplinary staff of talented and experienced public interest attorneys, environmental business specialists, public policy advocates, and communications specialists brings a strong and effective combination of skills to solve environmental problems and improve the quality of life in our Midwestern communities. Sierra Student Coalition is a network of environmental groups in high schools, colleges, and universities across the country. As the youth-directed sector of the Sierra Club, the SSC strives to motivate, train, and organize the young leaders in America to be the future of the environmental movement.
