spread your leaves. plant your roots in SEED.Have concerns about Northwestern's environmental impact? Have ideas to lower our carbon footprint? Want to learn more about environmental issues, their relationship to Northwestern, and how we can progress to be a greener, lighter community? Then SEED is a perfect place to start. We welcome everyone--whether you have been working for Greenpeace since you could talk or you don't know what a CFL is, you can be assured that you will find your place in SEED's community. We have opportunities to get involved with service, academic advocacy, outreach and publicity, and any other project you can think of. There are always new leadership opportunities available as new initiatives are started and members graduate. Perhaps one of the best parts of SEED is that the level of your involvement is strictly your choice. If you can organize an event or be on our executive board, that's great, but if you only have time for going on Prairie Project once a month, that's fine by us. The important part is that you are engaging yourself; you are getting informed and connecting with others to build a community that will inspire and educate others to care about the environment as much as we do.
