A native of Montana, Chuck has lived in the Chicago area since 1993. He is a member of the Lincoln Park RFC. His rugby career began in 1989 at the American Graduate School of International Management in Glendale, AZ. This followed collegiate football at the University of Montana. He is a Level III rugby coach certified by USA Rugby. His previous clubs include Thunderbird Kachinas RFC (Glendale, AZ), Stanford University RFC, and ORSU RFC (Portland, OR). Overseas tours include France, Andorra and Spain in 1992, and Ireland in 1996 and 1998, England-Scotland in 2000, Spain-Andorra-France in 2002, Cuba in 2003 and Argentina in 2005. He played in the 1994 Div. II National Championship in Austin, TX. His coaching influences have been Jack Johnson (CMR), Franck Boivert, (Stanford University), Matt Rainey, (ORSU,) Carl Spackler, Ty Webb, and Al Czervik. He works for Oracle, Inc. Chuck and his wife Nancy recently moved to Evanston so that he can devote even more time to the team.
