about

history

The Undergraduate Philosophy Society was started in 2007 by Amber North, a Northwestern philosophy student. Thanks to her efforts, a dedicated group met weekly at the Celtic Knot to discuss philosophy.

Early events included a panel discussion of the analytic/continental divide and a conversation about the philosophy of philosophy.
