Purple Haze:

Throughout the a cappella-drenched campus of Northwestern University, Purple Haze has made a name for itself by maintaining high musicality, impeccable arrangements, and stunning performances.  Purple Haze’s 17 members (9 guys and 8 girls) each add their own styles and talents to the group, giving the group an incredible range and diversity in its repertoire. Purple Haze members can also often be seen hanging out together in their free time, and practices always seem less like work and more like a party because they love each other so much! In addition to rehearsals and campus performances, Purple Haze competes and travels Nationally and Internationally every year. The group just released its fifth CD, Rutherford P. Haze, in the Spring of 2006, and selections from many of Purple Haze’s studio albums have been featured on Best of College A Cappella (BOCA) collections, Voices Only CD Compilations, received rave Recorded A Cappella Review Board (RARB) reviews, and garnered many CARA and ACA awards.
