NUSAF Movie Screening

When I first arrived in the Library movie theater, I didn't really know what to expect. I realized that you* were the only person I really knew that was involved in NUSAF and if you weren't there, I probably didn't know anyone haha. The people I met at the entrance were friendly though and that helped me to settle in. Also, it was nice to have the drinks right there so I could grab one and chill. The information sheets were really helpful because they explained stuff I may not have otherwise known.

I haven't seen a lot of Asian movies, much less Singaporean films, and I didn't really have any expectations going into it. Overall, I thought it was a good movie, and even though I was reading the subtitles, that didn't really take away from my understanding of it. It had its funny moments and it also had really sad moments. There were times that made me think about my own life and my own relation to my parents/family so there were deep parts as well. The food at the end was a nice touch. I'm definitely glad I went.
