3) Why do we need to fundraise?

We currently do not receive funding from the sports club office. This means that we have to cover all fees (transportation, entry fee, etc...) associated with participating in meets. Fundraising allows us to meet these costs.

4) How does the team usually train?

There is no set routine, most of our exercises focus on improving the core strength necessary for powerlifting. We usually try to work out all major muscle groups once a week. Most importantly, however, we learn from each other's experience and will usually try out regiments proposed by team members.

5) Who can I talk to about Scottish Strongman events (i.e. Highland games)?

1) Is Powerlifting for me?

Whether you are looking to get fit, stay fit , or just try something fun, Powerlifting is for you. We encourage people of all skill levels to join.

2) How much does it cost?

We don't have team fees, however, members are required to spend a minimum of one hour each week fundraising for the club.
