CLUB MISSION

The Northwestern University powerlifting team was re-established in the fall of 2006 when three northwestern undergraduates, Stan Chikando, Bill Staehle and Ted Sileika, recognized the need for a competitive venue for strength athletes at NU.

The team was reestablished with a vision of bringing together undergraduate and graduate students of all levels of experience with a passion for competition and a desire for developing both a mental and physical toughness.

Club practices are year round and we compete in powerlifting and strongman/woman competitions throughout the year.
