The Executive Board, consisting entirely of current rowers and coxswains, is responsible for the operation and direction of NU Crew as an organization.  Elected annually, the Exec Board is unique in that they are responsible only to themselves and to their rowers - as a club team, NU Crew does not answer to the university directly, and with that freedom comes great responsibility.  The Exec Board deals with a budget exceding $100,000 and meets weekly to discuss and solve the multi-faceted problems facing this team.  

President	The President is the leader and is the public face of NU Crew. Communicating with any outside party, the President leads all Exec meetings and is responsible for all members of the Exec Board.  He is in charge of the long-term direction of the team, including any large decisions such as coaching hirings, new boats, etc.  They must work with the NU Club Sports board to coordinate with other Club Sport Presidents. Alumni & PR Chair	The Alumni & PR Chair communicates with BCRF to maintain contact with all past rowers of NU Crew.  He records the minutes of every Exec Meeting and distributes them to the team.  He writes the biannual newsletter that is distributed to alumni.  He is also responsible for organizing any events that bring pat and current rowers together, whether the Alumni Row or at individual regattas. Equipment Manager	The Equipment Manager  is responsible for maintaining and storing the equipment, including boats, launches, engines, trailors, tools, and other miscellaneous equipment.  They coordinate the loading of trailers for regattas, and maintains NU Crew's indoor facility in Patten Gymnasium.  They work with the coaches to organize the purchase of gas, and other necessary equipment. Fundraising Chair	The Fundraising Chair determines all of the fundraising requirements for the teams, and coordinates with the treasurer to determine how much fundraising is needed from each individual.  He coordinates and organize all of the various fundraising activities including working at concession stands and the Rent-a-Rower program.  He also organizes the Ergathon fundraiser. Racing Chair	The Racing Chair is responsible for all details concerning racing regattas.  He coordinate with the coaches to create a racing schedule that is competitive and within budget.  He fills out all of the forms relating to regatta entry and racing waivers.  He arranges all lodging at regattas, and is in charge of the Spring Break training camp. Transportation Chair	The Transportation Chair works closely with the Racing Chair to organize all of the transportation to and from regattas, including buses, vans, and, occasionaly, planes.  He also arranges van transportation to and from practice.  He ensures that all team members are certified and able to drive university vans. Treasurer	The Treasurer maintains a balanced budget and is in charge of any monetary transaction concerning the team.  He pays the coaches' saliaries, collects dues from rowers and coxswains, and distributes money for races and other events.  He deals with SOFO to coordinate all of the budget issues. Varsity Men's Captain	The Varsity Men's Captain represents his team on the Exec Board and encourages communiation between rowers and the Exec Board and the coaches.  Along with the Varsity Women's Captain, he is in charge of the recruitment in the fall.  Together, they also design and organize all of the apparel for the teams throughout the year.  They also plan social events that involve all of the teams.
