This year, our team rowed a combined 715,015 meters and raised over $4,500 for the American Heart Association and NU Crew.

Every
year, NU Crew is proud to work closely with the American Heart
Association in order to raise awareness about the benefits of building
- through exercise and diet - a healthy lifestyle free of
cardiovascular diseases and stroke. During the two days of Erg-A-Thon , NU Crew rowers will row a combined 1,000 miles on our rowing machines, roughly the distance between Evanston and the site of our National Championship race in Oklahoma City, OK. We will be rowing both on campus and in the greater Chicago area to raise awareness for the mission of the AHA and also for the ongoing financial difficulties of running a successful rowing program. Individual rowers are seeking sponsorship from members of the community, and opportunites to donate are available for any amount in any way. Donations are tax-deductible, and go both to the Crew team and the AHA. If you are interested in donating, please consider either payment by check or via an online donation.
