Academic submissions for print:
The Northwestern Journal of International Affairs is currently accepting submissions for its forthcoming Winter 2010 issue. The Journal accepts academic articles, manuscripts and theses submitted by scholars and students (undergraduate or graduate) representing a wide variety of fields and universities. We ask that submitted works be in standard MLA or CMS format and be no longer than 10,000 words to be considered for publication.

Student submissions for the website:
1) We welcome photography, blogs, story ideas, reporting, and study-abroad essays from undergrads for our Student Angles section. Our scope is broad, and the only requirement is that the submissions have some international relevance with a campus focus.
2) We also look for reporters to cover Northwestern events and speakers for the Campus section.

Want to take an unique angle on a current subject of international affairs? Yearning to rant about some issue close to your heart? The NJIA is always looking for strong, informed writers to contribute to the blog. Blog posts typically range from 500-700 words, but witty and well-thought-out pictures, cartoons, or graphs are also welcome.
