On behalf of the Secretariat of NUMUN III, it is once again our great pleasure to offer you the opportunity to participate in NUMUN, Northwestern University's Model United Nations conference for secondary schools.

The previous NUMUN conferences have been exceptionally successful and exciting. Hundreds of student delegates and faculty advisors attended NUMUN I and NUMUN II, and the feedback we have received from them has been extremely positive. From the size of the committees, to the quality of debate, to the competence of the staff, everyone finds something about the conference they like best.

In designing NUMUN III, it has been our goal to create a simulation that is comprehensive and focused on the experience of every participant. We encourage developing programs to grow and take advantage of a new opportunity, and hope that students and schools that have had success at other conferences are able to bring that success here to Northwestern.

We are confident that the conference will be a great experience, and we hope that you will be able to be an active participant. Although we work very hard, the quality of NUMUN always comes across most clearly in the quality of the delegates that attend. We and our staff are very excited for you to come be part of the unique and amazing experience that is NUMUN this Spring.
