The conference will be held Thursday, April 6, 2006 through Sunday, April 9, 2006, with Opening Ceremonies taking place on the evening of Thursday, April 6 and Closing Ceremonies on the morning of Sunday, April 9.

Sessions will be held on Thursday evening following Opening Ceremonies, Friday afternoon and evening, all day Saturday, and Sunday morning.

The ACT is offered on Saturday morning of the Conference, April 8, 2006. For those students wishing to take the ACT while at NUMUN III, transportation will be provided to and from the Evanston Township High School test center.




All sessions will be held on campus.

Friday morning, students will have the opportunity to explore campus individually or on a guided tour, provided through the Undergraduate Admissions Office.




Northwestern is conveniently located near O'Hare International Airport and Midway Airport in Chicago.

The Evanston campus is situated only a few miles north of the Chicago city limits.

Students can explore Chicago Friday morning before sessions begin. There are three “El” stops located throughout campus.

Northwestern is approximately a 45 minute “El” ride away from the city.




Accomadation costs will vary upon room assignments. Hotel and transportation services during the conference will be provided. The cost will range from $99 to $128, plus tax, per night (per 4-person room).

Hotel reservations and rooming assignments should be made as soon as possible, and final rooming lists are due to the hotels by February 15, 2006.
