Situated on the beautiful lakeshore of Lake Michigan, just miles away from downtown Chicago and two international aiports (O'Hare and Midway), Northwestern University is one of the nation's leading institutions for higher learning. As part of its commitment to education beyond the classroom, the University has begun its first ever MUN simulation for secondary schools students.

         Hosted by the University's students and faculty, NUMUN I will provide delegates with an opportunity to explore a broad range of issues while striving to maintain an environment in which all students will have the chance to participate equally. Our goal will be to offer a variety of committees - both UN and non-UN - that, no matter what the size or issue, will appeal to all participating delegates.
