The main hurdle facing the NU Hockey team is not the
opposing team, but funding.
Player dues and fundraising
requirements have increased substantially, but are not enough to cover the
team’s needs.
To remain in Division II we will need to fulfill
a quota of games, both home and away. No matter how hard our players
work, we simply cannot grow or even maintain Division II status without
more financial support.
