McSA has established safe prayer spaces for students in buildings throughout campus.

• Tehnological Institute
• Friday Prayers

The 3rd floor of the Multicultural Student Center, 1936 Sheridan Road, has a permanent prayer room for Muslim students to use at any time of the day.

We have also made rooms available in the Technological Institute, 2145 Sheridan Road, between noon and 8 p.m. weekdays. Check back for times and locations during the first week of classes.

Jumuah Prayers are held every Friday in Parkes Hall 122, 1870 Sheridan Road. The khutba, a small talk about Islam, begins at 1:15 p.m. and prayers are at 1:45 p.m. A secondary service is held in the 3rd floor prayer room at the MCC either before or after the main service--check back for details.

McSA has also arranged for safe prayer accommodations at Welsh Ryan Arena, where football and basketball games are played.

During the blessed month of Ramadan, students gather to pray maghrib, isha and taraweeh in congregation in Parkes Hall 122. Isha and Taraweeh will begin at 9 p.m. For exact times for maghrib, check IslamicFinder.org.
