Kappa Deltas are from all over the country and the world, and are involved in everything on campus—from theater and dance productions, to pre-professional organizations, to online and print publications, to sports teams, and more. You can find us supporting our sisters at Boomshaka, Dance Marathon, Ladycats, and Brown Sugar events. KD’s are WNUR DJ’s, anchors on the NNN Northwestern News Network, Project Wildcat counselors, and members of Northwestern’s ice skating team, Purple Line. We love to share our interests with one another, and KD’s find themselves learning from one another what they never expected to!
Kappa Deltas love to show their Northwestern pride, and you can find us at all sorts of performances and events, especially those our sisters are involved in. We love football season, and on game day, you’ll find us leaving the house in huge packs, wearing purple and ready to show our school spirit. All over campus, you’ll find us wearing our letters with pride, and enjoying all Northwestern has to offer, together.
Not only do we love to attend Northwestern events together, but we also share a love for Evanston and Chicago, as sisters and with our friends. Our crush parties, date parties and formals take us into the city, from Hey Sushi and Zella’s to Fulton’s on the River and the Hard Rock Hotel. KD’s are proud to bring guests to KD events and show off their fun, exciting sisters.
At the end of the day, though, KD’s can always come to the house to find a group of friends that will be happy to see them, eager to get an update on their life, and simply want to relax together. Kappa Delta as a chapter provides a supportive group you know you can depend on, through a fun night enjoying the Northwestern social scene to the stress of a big test the next day. Kappa Deltas are always there for one another and have fun doing it!
