Suites

Suites in ISRC are composed of single and double rooms arranged around a common lounge. Every room in the dorm is a member of its own suite. ISRC has twelve suites, with four per floor (see the floor plan). Suites are color-coded as red, blue, green, and brown from west to east. Lounges provide residents with a common area for doing homework, socializing, and other group activities. Each suite is composed of the following:

• One large table
• Six chairs
• One couch
• Three armchairs
• Two small work cubbies
• Two table lamps
• Two large widows with venetian blinds
• Overhead track lighting system
• One garbage can
• 802.11n high-speed wireless internet
• One air conditioning unit

Every year, each suite picks a country it would like to represent. Residents of the suite then decorate their suite with decorations related to their country, and prepare weekly munchies based on the theme of the suite.
