Facilities

Suites
Dorm rooms are arranged in suites, which are centered around lounges. They are mainly used to by residents to study, although they can be used for recreational purposes.

Main Lounge
The main lounge on the first floor has several couches and chairs, a fireplace, a piano, air conditioning, fans, and a large amount of open space. It is attached to a kitchen, half-bathroom, and the library.

Library
The library contains a collection of textbook, study materials, yearbooks, and other books for use by ISRC residents to use. The room contains long tables and chairs and a whiteboard for meetings or seminars. The library also contains a miscellaneous assortment of items, from spare lanyards to Notorious BIG mugs to an N64 (with GoldenEye and Super Smash Brothers!).

Kitchens
Each floor has a kitchen with a three-burner stove, oven, refrigerator, microwave, sink, and cabinets. The first floor kitchen is the largest, and has a full-sized refrigerator.

The second floor kitchen is the next largest.

The third floor kitchen is the smallest.

ISRC owns several utensils, pots, pans, a water boiler, a blender, and other cookware. They can be checked out from the pantry in the library. To obtain the key to the pantry, see the Fellows Chair (Elisabeth and Ingrid), or the Social Chair (Taylor).

Internet
The entirety of ISRC has 802.11n high-speed wireless internet. Individual rooms and the main lounge are also wired for 10Mbps ethernet connections (ethernet cables not included).

Basement
The basement of ISRC contains an air-conditioned, sound-proof study lounge. The lounge contains six cubicles, two rooms, three couches and two tables. Each cubicle has a built-in light and two electrical outlets.

Bathrooms
On the second and third floors, two suites of rooms have one bathroom per gender. The first floor has one large, single-gender bathroom per side. Each single bathroom contains two stalls, two sinks, a shower with a changing area, a full-length mirror, two sink mirrors, and several banks of towel hooks. Finding an open shower is rarely a problem, and finding both showers on your floor simultaneously occupied is extremely rare.

Laundry Rooms
ISRC's laundry room offers three washers and three dryers. Washers cost $1.00 to start, which gives a full 35 minute washing time.

Dryers also start with $1.00, which provides 60 minutes of drying. Additional time can be added by adding more quarters to the dryers, capped at 99 minutes.

Washers and dryers can be paid with quarters or by adding cash to your WildCard. A cash-to-card machine is available in the basement so that WildCards can be charged and used for payment. The washers and dryers are all the same model, and therefore are run in the same manner.

Music Practice Room
The basement contains a music practice room equipped with a desk, couch, and music stand for practice.
