President: Miranda Zhao

Major: Economics & Geography
Hometown: Changchun, China
About me: If you walk up the stairs and smell something delicioius, that's probably me cooking in the kitchen. I bake, cook, and make smoothies. Everyone, on his/her birthday, gets a cake and we get together to sing "Happy Birthday" - it's an ISRC tradition. I enjoy seeing people eat my food, running around like crazy, and traveling around the world! I only go back to China once a year, so I regard ISRC as my home - I love this place, the people here and all the wonderful memories I had so far. Haha, don't think I'm a weirdo but I like getting up early and walk on the beach.

Duties:
- Represents the mission of ISRC to its residents and the University community at large.
- Supervises the Executive Board
- Administrates the budget with the Treasurer.
- Serves as the liaison between ISRC and the Master and Master Staff.
- Represents ISRC to the Residential College Board
- Submits quarterly surveys on dorm activities to all dorm residents.

Vice President: Anthony Chiodo

Major: Economics
Minor: Business Institutions & Chinese Language and Culture
Hometown: Park Ridge, IL
About me: I am an ex-music major! I love different languages and being in the company of my favorite people. Your daily dose of sass will come from me. Oh, and if you want to learn the NU ABO dance, let me know. (If you don't know what that is, don't worry about it).

Duties:
- Assumes the duties and responsibilities of the President as needed
- Chairs Executive Board meetings in the absence of the President
- Administrates and publicizing the housing eligibility and point system
- Organizes elections
- Actively recruiting and acting as liaison to non-resident members
- Provides a bi-weekly updated points list
- Serves as the liaison between ISRC and the Residential Housing Authority
- Informs the Master Staff about housing matters

Social Chair: Taylor Thomas

Major: Journalism and Econ
Minor: Art History
Hometown: Lakeville, MN
About me: After being held back in preschool (true story), I'm glad to be here at Northwestern, where I'm involved in some student publications and mock trial. In my spare time I like to watch old movies, cook in the dorm kitchen, and do yoga at the lakefill (read: lie around the dorm and think about doing yoga at the lakefill). If you ever want someone to talk to, be it about NU, politics, or your fate as it's written in the stars, I'm your girl!

Duties:
- Administers the quarterly calendar of social events to include at least three events per quarter
- Coordinates suite activities
- Promptly notifies the Secretary of upcoming social events
- Chairs the Social Committee

Academic Chair: Zach Silva

Major: Communication Studies and International Studies
Hometown: Brewster, NY, about an hour north of NYC.
About me: I have an extremely diverse cultural background, including Venezuelan, German, Native American, and Irish family ties. One important thing you should know about me is that I'm a music aficionado. Not only do I enjoy listening to and critiquing music, but I also enjoy playing guitar and singing. Outside of ISRC, I'm involved in WNUR News, WNUR Rock Show, The Daily Northwestern, Alianza, and the Student Admission Council. Fun fact: I am lycanthropic.

Duties:
- Administers the quarterly calendar of academic events
- Promptly notifies the Secretary of upcoming academic functions
- schedules resident and non-resident use of the main lounge, seminar room, and basement
- Serves as a liaison between ISRC and the Vice-President for Academic Affairs of the Residential College Board and the academic community at large, in conjunction with the Fellows Chair
- Chairs the Academic Committee

Philanthropy Chair: Irene Hsi

Major: International studies
Hometown: Lenexa, KS
About me: I really want to work abroad in the future.

Duties:
- Organizes and coordinates at least two ISRC philanthropy events per quarter
- Coordinates ISRC's Dance Marathon effort
- Promptly notifying the Secretary of upcoming philanthropy events
- Chairs the Philanthropy Committee

Fellows Co-Chairs: Elisabeth Boeck and Ingrid Ringler

Major: International Studies and undecided primary major
Minor: Environmental Policy and Culture
Hometown: Novato, CA (just north of San Francisco)
About me: I had an amazing experience studying Arabic in Egypt last summer on a scholarship from the State Department, and it's been really exciting and fascinating to stay in touch with my host family in Cairo during all the upheaval this past year. I hope to go back as soon as I can (and visit other parts of the region too)!


Major: Physics
Hometown: Weeeelll... if you find a map of western North Carolina and draw a line between Asheville and Boone, then find the center of that line (using a straightedge and a compass, like any good student of geometry), that's just about where I live.
About me: I have a kite with two strings, and I take every opportunity to fly it.  I call this a 'practical study of fluid dynamics'.

Duties:
- Coordinates at least two faculty socials per quarter planned in consultation with the Master Staff
- Coordinates the ISRC language tables
- Keeps the Fellows Membership informed of upcoming events and encourages their attendance
and/or participation, - Promptly notifies the Secretary of upcoming faculty/student activities
- Serves as a liaison between ISRC and the Vice-President for Academic Affairs of the Residential College Board and the academic community at large, in conjunction with the Academic Chair
- Chairs the Fellows Committee

Secretary: Kayleigh Madjar

Major: Psychology and Chinese Studies
Hometown: North Royalton, OH
About me: I'm also in NURD, the radio drama here on campus, TASC (Taiwanese American Students Club), China Foresee, and I work in the LGBT Resource Center.  Oh, and ISRC is THE BESTEST EVAH.

Duties:
- Chairs Executive Board meetings in the absence of the President and the Vice-President
- Records and electronically archives the minutes of both closed and open Executive Board meetings
- Publicly posts and distributes the minutes of the open Executive Board meetings
- Distributes minutes of closed Executive Board meetings to the Executive Board and Master Staff
- Creates and posts advertisements for all official ISRC activities
- Maintains and updates the dorm calendar
- Moderates the ISRC listserv
- Keeps active communication with all non-residents concerning ISRC events and policies
- Chairs the Publicity Committee

Treasurer: Lillian Chen

Major: Biological Sciences and Global Health
Hometown: Canton, MI
About me: Besides being the treasurer for ISRC, I also do research in a biology lab on campus, go on Alternative Student Break trips, and am involved in Greek life. I also love to explore the variety of restaurants in Evanston and take trips downtown; my goal is to visit each of the different neighborhoods in Chicago before I graduate!

Duties:
- Creates and administers the budget of ISRC in conjunction with the President on a quarterly basis
- Updates the Executive Board on the state of the budget weekly
- Updates the dorm and the Master Staff on the state of the budget quarterly
- Completes all financial transactions and reimbursements
- Consults with any exec member for non-budgeted purchases.

Technology Chair: Bryan Maldonado

Major: Electrical Engineering
Hometown: Waukegan/Vernon Hills, IL
About me: I run and maintiain the ISRC website. Some things about me is that I love to eat food, especially Mexican food. I like to play sports and listen to music. I am an engineer which means I am always doing homework but I like doing fun stuff on weekends. I am in an acappella group PULSO, Alianza, SHPE, and other organizations.

Duties:
- Maintains all technical equipment
- Coordinates the electronic archiving of the minutes with the Secretary
- Coordinates the posting and updating of the points list with the Vice-President
- Maintains all other dorm equipment
- Researchs all relevant dorm purchases in consultation with the Treasurer

Ecological Chair: Robert Liu


Major: Chemical or Environmental Engineering
Hometown: Hoffman Estates, IL
About me: My goal for the next four years is to become a competent engineer in the world so I can work on something related to environmental issues/basic health needs. This may all change when I take Orgo next year, who knows. This summer, I plan to go to Uganda to intern for a community-based organization. Other than that, I'm a pretty nice person who likes to take nature walks, write in my journal, and watch Miyazaki films. Let me know if you want to borrow one of his movies; I have all of them.

Duties:
- Coordinates dorm involvement in green practices
- Coordinates and advertises green cup

IM Sports Chair: Yves Yeung

Major: Industrial Engineering
Hometown: Hollywood, FL
About me: I love sports (surprising, yes?) and I love to watch my Dolphins, Heat, and of course, 'Cats play. I'm from Hollywood, Florida, which is way more awesome than Hollywood, California. You'll often see me in the dorm goofing off, at SPAC shooting some hoops, or in the library studying until my brain implodes (actually not so much). I also like to eat and play video games and partake in other gloriously unproductive activities like every other college student does.

Duties:
- Coordinates IM sports games
- Recruits and manages teams for IM sports
- Serves as team captain and player for IM sports
