Northwestern World Cup is a 16 team soccer tournament for Northwestern student
groups with a mission to promote diversity and intercultural collaboration.
Timeline
Monday, March 30th - Painting and Soccer tricks at the Rock
Thursday, April 2nd - The Kickoff
Friday, April 3rd - Jersey day and face painting
Saturday, April 4th - 1st NORTHWESTERN WORLD CUP!!!
Sunday, April 5th - Global Village at Parkes Hall 122

The Kickoff
Thursday, April 2nd at the 1800 Club 
(1800 Sherman Ave)
18+ from 9pm to Midnight
21+ after Midnight
The team that brings the most supporters to 
the Kickoff will get to play in the opening game. 
Tell your supporters to identify their team affiliation at the door!
Dress code: Strictly Sports Wear

8.00-8.50: Registration at Long Field
REGISTRATION CLOSES AT 8.50am SHARP
9.00-9.30: Opening Ceremony
9.30-10.15: Opening Game (Game 1)
10.00-10.45: Group games 2-6
10.45-11.300: Group games 7-12
11.30-12.00: BREAK, walk over to Recreational Field
12.00-12.45: Group games 13-15
12.45-1.30: Groups games 16-18
1.30-2.15: Group games 19-21
2.15-3.00: Group games 22-24
3.00-4.30: BREAK
4.30-5.15: Semifinals
5.15-6.00: 3rd place game
6.15-6.25: 3rd place awards + Team photograph
6.25-6.30: African Drum and Dance Ensemble Performance
6.35-6.45: Finals MARCH IN and National Anthem
6.45-7.45: FINALS with Special performance during Half Time
8.00pm: Closing remarks and Announcement of paper plate awards
