Our Mission
Who: The ENTIRE Northwestern Greek Community - 2200 students in 40 Greek Houses from the Intrafraternal, Panhellenic, National Panhellenic and Multicultural Greek councils.
What: Northwestern Greeks are sponsoring, including fundraising for and construction of, a Habitat for Humanity house to be built in tandem with a deserving family and presented to the family members upon completion.
When: The 2008-2009 school year. We will be building in Waukegan every Saturday.
Where: Habitat for Humanity in Waukegan, IL
Why: To deliver the gift of a home for a family to call their own; to unite the Northwestern Greek Community in a combined service and philanthropic endeavor to knock down silent barriers within a 2000+ base of Northwestern Greeks; and to give something back to the community that, in time, Greeks across the nation will take notice to and gain inspiration from.
