About: Jing grew up in the small college town of Ithaca, New York. Dancing has always been a hobby, but became more serious over the summer of 2005. He enjoys a wide range of music ranging from Jay-Z to Fall Out Boy to Young Jeezy to Green Day. Jing likes producing music and hopes to make it big one day in the music industry as a producer. About:Laura has been dancing since she was in the womb. It is her life and her absolute favorite thing to do 24 hours a day, seven days a week. About: Matt’s first step in becoming the dancer he is today began 8 years ago, with his first Chinese Shaolin Kung Fu lesson. After achieving the rank of green belt, he began learning some rudimentary six-step and toprock. With the sense of balance that kung fu gave him, an intimate attachment to music from years of classical piano, and a little dance experience from freehand raving, breakdancing, or bboying, was a natural step for him. Now, three years after he began, he still finds the inspiration to injure himself by attempting moves that are completely out of his skill level, simply for the joy of trying it (or he might just be masochistic).

About: You're not Cameroonian if you can't get down on the floor - it's not a stereotype, it's a fact that fusion helps me bring to life every week with talented dancers. I grew up dancing different types of tribal, folk, and modern African dances, but hip hop crept into my life in the late 90s and transformed my style into the illest high-energy upbeat percussion-loving art form it is today. My dance goal this year: learn more from the growing fusion fam and my favorite dancers!

About: All throughout middle school and high school, Norman was the quiet guy at dances who stood around awkwardly with no clue what to do. Inspired by a popping video he saw during his senior year, Norman began practicing in front of his window at night (he had no mirror sadly). A year and a half later, he's now at Fusion and falling in love with dancing more and more each day.

About: Peter grew up in his childhood hating dancing, especially the dreaded square dance. No amount of YMCA's and Macarina's would change his mind. Shying away from middle school and high school dances, Peter could never have imagined being where he is today. After watching his first Hyun Joon video in '06, Peter wanted to be a popper. He began by watching youtube and mimicking movements in front of the mirror. Although at first Peter's dancing scared his Asian mom away, as the months passed, he looked more and more like a popper. He realized the secret to doing well in anything is having a passion and extreme perseverance.
