Every year, CSA holds a number of fun cultural events that attract a large portion of the Northwestern student community. Read the event descriptions below and go to the photos section of the website to see more.

Dumpling Night

CSA kicks off the school year with its first event of the year: a make your own dumplings night. Attendees learn how to correctly fold dumplings, watch their new creations cook, and enjoy their own freshly cooked dumplings with soy sauce or vinegar. It's packed every year, so be sure to come out early!



Fall Speaker

CSA's Fall Speaker has featured famous names such as Wong Fu Productions and Comedy Central's Eliot Chang. Speakers talk about how they overcame challenges to become successful and even leave time to meet the audience.



Celebrasia

Celebrasia is Northwestern University's annual Chinese New Years show. One of the most famous and anticipated events of the year, Celebrasia is a collaboration by CSA and TASC and features dancing, skits, and many more performances. Previous performers have included SoReal Cru, Shanghai Restoration Project, Poreotics, and Far East Movement. Get your tickets early; the event sells out every year!



Spring Speaker

CSA's Spring Speaker has featured famous names such as Tim Be Told. Speakers talk about how they overcame challenges to become successful and even leave time to meet the audience



CSA Game Show

A combination of wacky games and fierce competition make this one of the most fun and exciting events of Spring Quarter. Watch teams compete or join the fun; the winning team is forever immortalized on the CSA Game Show Trophy.
