Mission- The
Chinese Students Association is one of the first established
Asian-American student groups at Northwestern. We aim to promote the
awareness of Chinese culture on campus and elsewhere while encouraging
a social environment for students of all backgrounds. Furthermore, we
strive to bring service to our community. Our events are geared towards
bringing together the Asian community while sharing our culture with
others. Some annual events include: Celebrasia, bowling nights, dances,
dinner parties, and hosting famous guest speakers.
Some annual events include Celebrasia (a celebration of Asian
culture), bowling nights, dances, dinner parties, and hosting famous
guest speakers. So whether you’re Chinese, Taiwanese, or Cantonese,
we’re all family. If you’re interested in learning about, speaking for,
and being an active leader for the Chinese/Chinese American and Pan
Asian culture here on campus, join the CSA Junior Executive Board
Hey all. I want to introduce to you a very good friend of mine. He served as one of CSA Junior Execs for three years and brought many good things to the board.
His name is Yang Yang Chen. This is what he looks like...
This is what he thinks he looks like...
If you want to learn more about him, you can visit his xanga… http://www.xanga.com/yumsquared
He's currently working at Northrop Grumman, and working on defense contract to make it safer for you and me. Every day, he comes back from work and goes to Chipotle for dinner. He likes it so much he decided to be one...
He has been a vital part of the CSA family. He attended every meeting, planned and coordinated events, and updated the website. See if you can find him the next two pictures…
Well…that is all I have to say.
But, before I call it quits, here is a message from Yang Yang himself…
