info
Welcome to Church of the Redeemer at Northwestern. I hope that we can be a strong support for you and your relationship with Christ. Our Church is open to undergraduate, graduate and seminary students, as well as non-students from the neighbouring Chicago and Evanston communities. Below you’ll find information for each of these groups. For a better sense of who we are and what we’re doing, I encourage you to check out the
meet us and faith tabs.
For students and incoming Freshman:
Redeemer at Northwestern provides many opportunities to grow and connect with other students:
We offer weekly worship services, in a style known as “ancient future,” which seeks to bring the great tradition of the ancient church into a contemporary environment. The music, art and picture links will help you get a bit of the feel (coming soon!).
We offer small group and mentoring/discipleship opportunities. We have the benefit of having older and wiser non-students who will gladly mentor those interested.
We encourage each one of our members to discover and use their spiritual gifts in ministry, whether through our congregation or through one of the existing fellowship groups on campus.
