Welcome to the Church of the Redeemer at Northwestern! Our hope is that we can be a strong support for you and your relationship with Christ. Our Church is open to undergraduate, graduate and seminary students, as well as non-students from the neighboring Chicago and Evanston community. On this site, you’ll find information for each of these groups. For a better sense of who we are and what we’re doing, we encourage you to check out the “Our Story”, “Faith”, and “Sermons” tabs.

COMMUNITY MEAL THIS SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 16th:

Following our regular worship service this Sunday, we will be having a free, home-cooked meal. In the spirit of Thanksgiving, there will be an abundance of food. It’s going to be a great opportunity to hang out with those from Redeemer and just enjoy some delicious, non-dining hall food. All are welcome, eating will probably commence at around 12:30 in Annenberg G02. Don’t miss out on the perfect warm-up to the holiday season!!

For new students and incoming Freshman:

Redeemer @ Northwestern provides many opportunities to grow and connect with other students:

* We offer weekly worship services, in a style known as “ancient future,” which seeks to bring the great tradition of the ancient Church into a contemporary environment. The music, art and picture links will help you get a bit of the feel.

* We offer small group and mentoring/discipleship opportunities. We have the benefit of having older and wiser non-students who will gladly mentor those interested.

* We encourage each one of our members to discover and use their spiritual gifts in ministry, whether through our congregation or through one of the existing fellowship groups on campus.
