Tech Sale

Syabas cili-cili sekalian!! we managed to get a net profit of 18 dollars despite the initial setback we encountered. 18 dollars doesn't make up for the girls having to sleep at 5 in the morning to look after the kaya puffs, but it's our first tech sale, and since we are extremely poor, every cent helps. a big big thank you to shida the head chef and the goodrich girls for sacrificing your weekend when you have better things to do, like studying for exams :p. also, thank you to everyone who helped out in any way, be it taking care of the booth, or just simply showing up and lending support. now the next cilipadi challenge, MIDWEST GAMES 2004!! - Nadiah

Class of 2004 Seniors Farewell Picnic

A 'Seniors Graduation Picnic' was held recently to celebrate the graduation of our beloved seniors, Sakinah, Anand and Yennie. With the nice weather and great food, our outing beside the lake was just perfect. Thanks to the organizers for making the event possible and En. Azizan and wife of MSD Chicago for the wonderful bihun, kueh bingka and kuey tiaow.

Cili Padi Chinese New Year Dinner

The Chinese New Year Dinner was a blast. Outstandingly great food (been a while since I last had a steamboat feast), such warm and happening company (Reza and Azman's jokes, though lame as hell, were all worth the laugh...) and cute ladies all around (Yen being herself and Ling and Geoki's ponytails... wooh). Nearly everyone was there. Kudos kudos to all the people who worked hard on making it a successful makan besar. My neighbor Choon Pin especially for his trips to and fro Argyle via the El defying the blizzard out there...
