We the students of Northwestern University strive to give Chinese orphans
the opportunity and experience to enrich their lives. We do this through several of our
projects. Our mentorship program is designed for
Northwestern students like you to become integral components of the cultural development
of Chinese orphans. Since they have been raised amidst the American culture, they may have
difficulty relating to their Chinese heritage.
We also have a Saturday dumplings playgroup that meets
once a month for all children aged 2-7 to come and learn through arts & crafts, games, and
coloring. This is a great opportunity for kids to come and play with other playmates and to
meet some fun, enthusiastic Northwestern volunteers who are paired one-on-one with the children.
