Dumplings Playgroup Description: Dumplings is a Saturday playgroup that meets once a month for all children aged 2-7 to come and learn through arts & crafts, games and coloring something new about the Chinese culture. Group sizes range from 3 to 12 children each time. This is a great opportunity for kids to come and play with other playmates and to meet some fun, enthusiastic Northwestern volunteers who are paired one-on-one with the children. Some past Dumplings themes have been: Pandas, Terracotta Warriors & the Chinese Mooncake Festival! Goals: The purpose of our playgroup is to expose Chinese adopted children to a comfortable environment in which they can learn and appreciate their birth heritage. The dumplings playgroup serves as a medium for families to form a close-knit community that gather to have fun in an educational, interactive setting. When: To Be Announced.
