Northwestern's residential college program is a unique housing system that provides
students and faculty involved a sense of a small community and caring. This can be a determining factor in whether
a person feels welcome into the college environment. The residential college system is administered by the
Residential College Board, or RCB, which is a board of student elected officers from any of the residential
colleges that help coordinate inter-residence events and host a formal every year. Each residential college has
an individual style that makes them all unique and interesting.
