Biography:
Sylvester-JaRon was born and raised in Detroit, MI. His unique academic talents earned him a boarding scholarship to Cranbrook-Kingswood. There he excelled not only in academia but on the football field, the basketball court, and the track. He was also very active in school politics, serving as class president for two years, class vice president for two years, and as vice president of the black student alliance 4A. His efforts at CK were not in vain, for they brought him a Jackie Robinson Scholarship and subsequently a scholarship to Northwestern where he would major in mechanical engineering. Upon entering Northwestern, he was chosen as a member of the elite Norris task force known as Housestaff. He also distinguished himself as a member of NSBE and was rewarded by his constitutients with his election to the offices of communications chairman, and now, vice president. Currently, he is a Center Manager at the Norris Center, and serves Alpha Mu as Secretary and Membership Intake Chairman.
