Zen Lecture This ThursdayMeido Moore, who is the head Aikido instructor at Shinjinkai and a Zen Buddhist priest will be giving a public lecture on Zen Buddhism and meditation practice at Shephard Residential College this Thursday (Oct. 25) from 7:30 - 9pm. Many Aikido practitioners find Zen meditation useful in their training, and Zen practitioners likewise find value in Aikido. Giordano's Pizza Party This SaturdayEveryone is invited to Giordano's for pizza after practice on Saturday. Giordano's is located near the corner of Hinman and Davis streets in Evanston Center. Even if you can't make practice on Saturday(3:45-6) please join us for the free food and company. We will be leaving directly from Blomquist so meet us there or at the restaurant (we should be arriving there at about 6:30). If you have questions or need directions call Rafael at 224-717-0736.
