What is AIESEC?
AIESEC is the world's premiere student-run international organization dedicated to increasing cultural understanding and cooperation through running an international paid-internship program. We help U.S. companies reach out to young business and I.T. professionals in over 700 universities worldwide. We also help U.S. students find paid internships abroad in any of our 87 member countries. We are currently based in over 38 locations in the U.S.History
AIESEC, pronounced eye-sek, was founded in 1948. The organization is currently represented in 87 countries and accounts for 50,000 members worldwide. After World War II, several students in France decided to promote world peace by developing a strong and diverse network between countries. This has turned out to be the largest student-run organization in the world, and successful enough to achieve a seat in the United Nations, as well as contracts with companies across the globe.Mission
To contribute to the development of our countries with an overriding commitment to international understanding and cooperation. Our Vision
To be the best and largest student exchange organization in the world by the year 2017.Our Partners
AIESEC works with established global companies such as Accenture, Dow AgroSciences, IBM, and AT&T, as well as smaller growing businesses. Many have been using AIESEC as a worldwide recruitment tool for more than 25 years. Every US President since 1962, Jacques Delors of the European Community and several other high-ranking domestic and foreign diplomats have endorsed AIESEC for the dialogue and interaction it fosters between business and students.

The professional training and practical experience AIESEC provides, in combination with their university curriculum, gives AIESEC members a distinctive advantage: upon entering the workforce, they make an immediate contribution to their employers.Developing Leaders
