Alpha Chi's National Philanthropy helps victims of domestic violence.
Here at Northwestern, we work closely with the Evanston Battered Women's Shelter
to raise funds, host events, and spread awareness on campus and in the community.
We co-hosted Watermelon Bust again this spring with Lambda Chi Alpha,
donating the proceeds toward the Evanston Battered Women's Shelter.
This fall, we will be hosting Alpha Chi Omega Presents: Love Shouldn't Hurt, a coffeehouse
featuring performers from various Panhellenic sororities.
Proceeds benefit the shelter and the Alpha Chi Omega foundation.
We are also collaborating with Pi Beta Phi
on Pi Beta Phi and Alpha Chi Omega Present: T.A.K.E., a women's self-defense class
being hosted at Northwestern to benefit T.A.K.E. Foundation.

Additionally, we have been making and selling bike chain link
bracelets and selling them to the Northwestern and Evanston communities.
Proceeds go toward a scholarship that will enable a teenager from
Lydia's House, a St. Louis-based domestic violence shelter, to go on a biking
trip with the Odyssey Program.
A webpage will be up soon with more information!
