Associated Student Government

ASG is a lobbying body that serves to empower students and to advocate on their behalf to the University. ASG is composed of elected senators representing every undergraduate student at Northwestern University. We have senators representing every residence hall, residential college, sorority, fraternity, off-campus students, and 22 student groups.

Chicago Graduate Student Association

CGSA is a graduate student organization encompassing the Integrated Graduate Program, Medical Scientist Training Program, Northwestern University Institute for Neuroscience, Genetic Counseling, Clinical Psychology, and Physical Therapy. CGSA provides a forum to address the academic, social, and political needs of Chicago campus graduate students, and promotes interactions with the Evanston campus.

Graduate Student Association

The Graduate Student Association (GSA) strives to support and enhance graduate students' experiences inside and outside of the classroom by organizing social opportunities for graduate students, advocating on behalf of graduate students to the University administration, representing graduate student interests on university committees, and creating resources and programs that enhance graduate life.

Interfraternity Council

There are seventeen men's fraternities that make up the Interfraternity Council at Northwestern University, ranging from chapters founded over a century ago to chapters that colonized in the last few years.

Northwestern Class Alliance (NCA)

The Northwestern Class Alliance is an organization composed of four individual class councils whose purpose is to foster campus unity, alumni relations and class identity through social and eduactional programming.

Residence Hall Association

The Northwestern University Residence Hall Association exists to improve the quality of residential life for Northwestern University students. The Residence Hall Association shall encourage interaction and cooperation among the residence halls. The Residence Hall Association shall further be a liaison for the students to the University administration, acting as the representative voice for all undergraduate students living in the residence halls of Northwestern University.

Residential College Board

The Residential College Board is an advisory board that consists of the presidents of the eleven residential colleges and a six member executive board. The RCB is committed to promoting community and academic enrichment in Northwestern's residential colleges. RCB programming includes New Student Week events, the Fall Formal, and quarterly Student Faculty Receptions.

School of Music Student Advisory Board

The Student Advisory Board of Northwestern's School of Music acts as a liaison between the student body and faculty members, giving both parties an opportunity to express concerns or ideas. In addition to facilitating free communication, it serves to keep the community involved and informed about music-related events and strenghten ties among the students.

Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers

Our mission is to promote the development of Hispanics in engineering, science and other technical professions to achieve educational excellence, economic opportunity and social equity.

Student Advisory Board (SAB) - SCS

The Student Advisory Board is dedicated to providing SCS students with the best possible support. We ensure that student concerns are addressed by serving as a link between the student body and the administration. Our goal is to build a cohesive community by encouraging open discussion, personal development, and active participation.

Student Homecoming Executive Board

The Northwestern University Student Homecoming Executive Board is a group of students selected by the Northwestern Alumni Association to redevelop the importance of Homecoming on Northwestern's campus.
